The recently completed $12m state-of-the-art warehouse complex is
the only one of its kind in the South Island of New Zealand.
The Christchurch warehouse is 7,800 square meters, is fully
racked, ambient and capable of holding 12,000 pallets at any one time. Joined to
it is a 2,500 square meter canopy to ensure devanning and dispatch operations
occur in a protected and dry environment.
To complement the warehouse complex, Maxwell has recently implemented an award
winning warehouse management system (WMS) sourced from Australia. The system
gives Maxwell the opportunity to offer clients the proven advantages of wireless
technology.
Maxwell’s head office is in Christchurch. It also has a shared
facility in Auckland, allowing clients’ product to be distributed at both
locations.
